Erik Jolivette is currently in his first year as a cross country and track & field coach at the University of St. Thomas. Prior to joining the St. Thomas coaching staff, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin from 2015 to 2017 where he worked with multiple Big Ten champions, NCAA All-Americans, and World Championship qualifiers. Jolivette has experience working with athletes and coaches at Harvard University and the University of Iowa and began his coaching career as head cross country and assistant track & field coach at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School in Garner, Iowa. He is a former collegiate distance runner for Wartburg College.
Erik implements coaching and training philosophies from many of the most successful running coaches around the country as well as incorporating general strength and mobility routines written by world-renown athletic chiropractors and physicians.
